Violet Wanjiru from Rwika had completed her secondary education three years earlier when she joined the Learning for Life training program. At the time, she was searching for opportunities that would help her build a sustainable career. Through the training, Violet discovered a strong passion for hospitality and gained practical skills that prepared her for the job market.

After successfully completing the program, Violet secured an opportunity at Coursica as a mixologist, where she gained valuable experience in customer service and beverage preparation. Her dedication and willingness to learn enabled her to progress further, leading to employment at Comradez Hotel as a waiter. Within only eight months, Violet had advanced her career and secured a position as a waiter at Isaac Walton Hotel in Embu.

Violet's story demonstrates the power of skills development, determination, and persistence. She serves as an inspiration to many young people by showing that with the right training and commitment, it is possible to transform opportunities into a successful career.
