Youth unemployment remains one of Kenya's most pressing development challenges. With nearly 75% of the country's population aged 35 years and below, investing in young people is essential for sustainable economic growth and social transformation. When equipped with the right skills, opportunities and support, Kenya's youth represent one of the nation's greatest assets.

At AiRD, youth empowerment is at the heart of our work. Through our four strategic pillars, we create pathways for young people to thrive by strengthening their employability, delivering Learning for Life and other skills development programs, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting business development and facilitating linkages to employment and market opportunities.

Over the past four years, AiRD has positively impacted the lives of more than 30,000 young people, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and opportunities needed to build productive and sustainable livelihoods. These interventions have enabled many young people to secure employment, establish businesses, improve their incomes and contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities.

We believe that lasting change can only be achieved through strong partnerships.
