In partnership with P&G, AiRD introduced water-purification sachets and hygiene education to schools across Makueni County. The intervention was simple — but the effect on attendance and health was immediate.
Teachers reported fewer sick days. Pupils reported feeling more energetic through the school day. Parents reported spending less on medication for waterborne illness.
Clean water is rarely a headline. But in classrooms across Makueni, it is the quiet foundation of a better school day.
