About this project

VijaBiz supports young entrepreneurs in agriculture to build profitable agribusiness enterprises. The project combines agribusiness training, business planning, ICT integration, mentorship and market linkages, and facilitates youth groups to access grant capital for start-up and expansion.

  • 160 groups (1,168 youth) trained in entrepreneurship.
  • 50 groups assisted to access grants ranging from KSh 100,000 to KSh 2 million each.
  • 50 grantee groups mentored through start-up and business expansion.
  • 345 young people supported to start their own enterprises.
